RULES
The one loft race will be known as the Cheshire Challenge one loft race
The race will be set in the lovely Cheshire countryside, some 4 miles from my Home, security is not an issue with the landlords living on site and CCTV already in place,
All birds must carry a Recognized 2009 ring
The birds will remain in the owners name and the loft manager and owner will make every effort to repatriate lost birds to the loft between them.
The birds will be Clocked via the Unikon Clocking System and the results of trainers and Races will be posted via a Virtually live link to the web site yes that’s right virtually live (within 30seconds) to the internet including live update of ace pigeon standings.
Owners will be able to log on to the web site and at the touch of a button view all their birds and their performances.
The lofts will be open for entrants from 01st February 2009 until April 10th 2009
Birds should be between 30 and 45 Days old when they arrive at the lofts to give them the best possible start
Lost birds can be replaced by yourselves free of charge but only up until the loft closing date 10th April
Visitors to the lofts will be by prior arrangement with the loft manager all will be welcome
Deposit per bird is £20 with the remaining £60 being paid before the Bird enters the lofts, closing date for entries 10th April 2009
Replacements will be allowed for any lost / injured pigeon/s up until the 10th April 2009.
The races shall be flown under RPRA Rules.
Hot Spot Races and Final Race
The Birds will fly on their own with no other federation etc going with them
The prize money for each hot spot race will be £500 based on the 160 fully paid Entries
Race 1 Cheltenham 4021 (Licence applied for) 98 miles
Race 2 Mangotsfield 4068 (Licence applied for) 128 Miles
Final Yeovil 4176 (Licence applied for) 165 Miles
The Prize money for the final race will be £5385 with a first prize of £2250 plus Trophy based on a full entry of paid up entrants.
The prize for the syndicate entering the ace pigeon would be £500 plus trophy (based on 160 fully paid up entries)
The ace pigeon will be awarded to the pigeon recording the shortest flying time from all 3 races.
All prize money and prizes are based on fully paid up entry of 160 birds if there are less than this Prize Money will be reduced pro rata.
In the event that there are not enough birds to fill the prize winning places by the close of the race all remaining unpaid monies will be split equally between the prize winning pigeons from that race.
In the event no birds are recorded in race time the prize money will be split evenly between every pigeon that was marked for that race.
Trophies awarded by the Cheshire Challenge Team in 2009 will become the property of the syndicate that the bird is entered by in the one loft race.
Pools
We are currently working on getting a web enabled pooling system up and running so at the least everyone can have a flutter on their birds, this means a paypal donate button will be added so you can have a flutter without leaving the comfort of your own home not even to post a pool sheet it can be done on line.
Pools for each Race will be:
£1, £3, £5, £10, £15 £20 winner take all pools less 10% Admin charge

Ace Pigeon £500 + Trophy (Shortest flying time all 3 races)
All pools and prize monies won will be paid out as soon as possible after the paypal payment is transferred to the Account any unwon pools will be returned less 10% Admin charge.
Any birds in the loft 1 week after the final race will be entered into an Auction to be confirmed.
The proceeds from each lot will be split 50%--40% organizers/competitors providing the competitor/s can supply a pedigree for there bird to be in the organizers hands two weeks prior to the Auction date, the remaining 10% will go to the Auction site / Auctioneer.
Any birds unsold will be given to new starters or disposed off at the loft manager’s discretion. The birds will be Auctioned 2 weeks after the Final Race and the Auction will last 14 days.
Any eventuality not covered by RPRA rules or Our race rules, will be decided by the Cheshire Challenge One Loft Race organisers and the Race organisers decision will be Final.
